The position begins in August 2025.

The faculty position involves teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses that may be offered in-person, online, hybrid, or hyflex in both synchronous and asynchronous formats. The ideal candidate will use innovative teaching skills and demonstrate attention to the learning and teaching needs of the department?s students. The faculty member will collaborate with other departmental faculty and staff to ensure student success.
This is a full-time 12-month appointment. There is potential for summer session instructional opportunities. Responsibilities include:
Engage in scholarly activities such as research, presentations, publications, and grants. The University promotes the Teacher-Scholar Model for professional accomplishment and values faculty contributions in diverse forms
Serve the University and the community through participation in various committees
Advise students and supervise student clinicians
Incorporate technology into the classroom and the clinic
Perform other duties as assigned
Masters in speech-language pathology
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and Pennsylvania State license eligibility
Experience working as a speech-language pathologist for a minimum of five years post clinical fellowship
At least 3 years of experience supervising graduate students post clinical fellowship
Experience working with diverse staff, students, and clients; and/or
Professional (non-academic) experience working in administration, leadership, or management of staff; and/or
Experience working as a clinical supervisor at a university clinic; and/or

Recording of plenary sessions that is intended for broadcast or webcast requires prior arrangement and permission through APAP;
Advance scheduling is required for all filming during exhibit hours;
Advance scouting, without cameras, is required;
All camera crew personnel must wear press badges, and badges must be visible while on the exhibit floor;
All camera crews will be escorted by a representative of the Conference while on the exhibit floor;
A list of filming needs, indicating company name and booth number, must be approved by APAP in advance of any filming;
Permission must be granted by each exhibitor before any filming begins. Camera crews must provide release forms before filming;
If you ?need power, other than battery pack, advance arrangements are required and can be arranged by contacting Leah Frelinghuysen;
You will be responsible for any costs related to electrical needs;
Interviews for exhibitors in the EXPO Hall should be scheduled up to one week before the conference starts (January 10, 2020) and advance scheduling is required for all filming during exhibit hours
