The History Department at Radford University seeks a tenure-track assistant/associate professor in United States history to begin August 2025. Training and/or experience in Public History required. Preference given to candidates with ability to teach Appalachian history. Applicants must have a demonstrated commitment to high-quality teaching, scholarship, and student engagement. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in hand by August 2025. The successful candidate will offer upper-division courses in Public History, other United States history courses, and ideally Appalachian history.
