The Department of Italian Studies at New York University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Italian Renaissance Literature beginning September 1, 2025.Applicants should have native or near-native fluency in the Italian language, significant teaching experience, and a strong record of research and publications in the field of Italian literature from the period 1400-1600, whereby "Italian" should be understood as both referring to Italy?s literary traditions and their transnational and multilingual intersections.
