We are seeking a talented and experienced orchestra conductor who specializes in programming and conducting Latin-themed concerts to lead a celebration of Chicano and Latin heritage on November 1st, 2025. The successful candidate will be responsible for curating a concert program that showcases the rich cultural traditions of Chicano and Latin music, incorporating elements of traditional and contemporary compositions. This unique event aims to celebrate diversity, promote cultural understanding, and honor the contributions of Latinx communities.

As the conductor and programmer, you will work closely with musicians, composers, and arrangers to design a dynamic and engaging concert that resonates with the audience. Your leadership will be crucial in ensuring a seamless and artistically compelling performance that captures the essence of Chicano and Latin music. In addition to rehearsing and conducting the orchestra, you will also be involved in selecting repertoire, coordinating with guest artists, and overseeing all aspects of concert production.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding and appreciation of Chicano and Latin music traditions, as well as experience working with orchestras and ensembles of varying sizes.
