The Psychology Department of Concordia College, Moorhead, MN is seeking applicants for a full-time, tenure-eligible Assistant Professor of Psychology with a position start date of August 2025. A Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or related specialization is preferred; ABD may be considered. The teaching load is three courses or equivalent per semester. The candidate would teach courses suited to their area of expertise as well as foundational courses in the major.
Concordia College is dedicated to excellence in undergraduate education. Demonstrated potential for outstanding teaching and a commitment to productive scholarly activity in the field of psychology are essential. Scholarly activity may include development of an active research program with undergraduates and/or clinical or counseling practice. In addition to teaching and scholarly activity, faculty are expected to contribute to departmental and college-wide committees. Faculty are committed to student success and advise our students both formally and informally throughout the year regarding courses as well as post-graduation vocational decisions. Other duties may arise based upon department needs.
The Psychology Department includes seven full-time faculty committed to student learning, professional accomplishment, and collegiality. Recording of plenary sessions that is intended for broadcast or webcast requires prior arrangement and permission through APAP;
Advance scheduling is required for all filming during exhibit hours;
Advance scouting, without cameras, is required;
All camera crew personnel must wear press badges, and badges must be visible while on the exhibit floor;
All camera crews will be escorted by a representative of the Conference while on the exhibit floor;
A list of filming needs, indicating company name and booth number, must be approved by APAP in advance of any filming;
Permission must be granted by each exhibitor before any filming begins. Camera crews must provide release forms before filming;
If you ?need power, other than battery pack, advance arrangements are required and can be arranged by contacting Leah Frelinghuysen;
You will be responsible for any costs related to electrical needs;
Interviews for exhibitors in the EXPO Hall should be scheduled up to one week before the conference starts (January 10, 2020) and advance scheduling is required for all filming during exhibit hours
