The Director reports jointly to the Associate Dean for the Arts in Yale College and the Dean of the Yale School of Music. This is a full-time appointment in the adjunct ranks in the Yale School of Music, renewable, with a teaching load of at least one course per semester.DutiesConduct and oversee all aspects of the Yale Symphony Orchestra: program YSO season; determine YSO roster; conduct all rehearsals; conduct or co-conduct all YSO concerts; oversee YSO website and newsletter. Supervise YSO Administrative Associate;Teach at least one course per semester, e.g., in conducting, and advise undergraduates;
