Who we are:FTT offers a liberal arts approach to the study of film, television, and theatre - a unique mix of design and production, writing and performance, history and theory.
Job Description: The Undergraduate Studies Coordinator plays a vital role in the overall success of the Department of FTT. This individual serves as the first point of contact for those visiting, phoning, or emailing the department. Reporting to the Department Chair, the Undergraduate Studies Coordinators top priorities will be to
Provide administrative support for the FTT faculty, including the Director of Undergraduate Studies, Director of Theatre, and Director of Graduate Studies
Prepare course scheduling in CourseLeaf and update relevant bulletins including the Undergraduate Bulletin, First Year Studies Bulletin, and Summer Session information
Monitor and assist with registration, including processing eForms, helping to resolve course-related issues, administering crosslistings, assisting with room and schedule changes
Maintain a database of student records and provide general assistance to current and prospective FTT majors, including information on courses and major requirements
Update and maintain student advisor lists and faculty contact information
Perform routine clerical tasks including telephone reception, typing, copying, shipping, and other office duties
Manage inventory of office supplies using BuyND, ensuring timely ordering and restocking
Organize and coordinate special events such as classroom visits, internal events, and department lunches
Collaborate with the other department staff as a team to support the overall needs of the department
Other duties as assigned
Please note: This is a permanent, full-time, 10-month position: August through May, with June and July off each year.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or GED with 1-2 years of administrative experience
Skills:
Friendly and welcoming disposition
Excellent organizational and communication skills
High level of attention to detail
Ability to respond to multiple tasks and questions with frequent interruptions
Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
Must be proficient in computer skills and able to work with a number of standard software programs including Google applications (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Forms, Slides)
Due to level of confidential material, a commitment to confidentiality is essential

Recording of plenary sessions that is intended for broadcast or webcast requires prior arrangement and permission through APAP;
Advance scheduling is required for all filming during exhibit hours;
Advance scouting, without cameras, is required;
All camera crew personnel must wear press badges, and badges must be visible while on the exhibit floor;
All camera crews will be escorted by a representative of the Conference while on the exhibit floor;
A list of filming needs, indicating company name and booth number, must be approved by APAP in advance of any filming;
Permission must be granted by each exhibitor before any filming begins. Camera crews must provide release forms before filming;
If you ?need power, other than battery pack, advance arrangements are required and can be arranged by contacting Leah Frelinghuysen;
You will be responsible for any costs related to electrical needs;
Interviews for exhibitors in the EXPO Hall should be scheduled up to one week before the conference starts (January 10, 2020) and advance scheduling is required for all filming during exhibit hours
