Assistant Audio Engineer (A2) is the main support position for Master Audio Engineer (A1) and assists the A1 in all but not limited to: Serve as Master Audio Engineer when the A1 is unable to be present including mixing and operating FOH. Assist Master Audio Engineer in advancing shows with BPO Director of Operations, production tour groups, or musician groups when needed. Operate Monitor/IEM mixing when a separate system for stage monitoring is in use, or when mixing of monitors is handled separately. Handle wireless mics during rehearsals and performances when needed.
