Alabama State University, College of Visual and Performing Arts, invites applications to fill the position of Technical Director/Facilities Manager. This is a twelve-month full-time staff position.   Duties and Responsibilities:Serve as Technical Director for the department of Theatre ArtsSupervise and maintain the scene shopFunction as master carpenter for the construction of scenic elements in department productionsMaintain shop hours on a daily basis to accommodate Rehearsal & performance schedulingSupervise and maintain theatre spaces in the Tullibody fine Arts BuildingServe as Master carpenter/builder and be responsible for construction methods, materials, mechanics, rigging and maintenance of all scenic elements for Theatre & Dance
