Special Events Coordinator
Overall Responsibilities Reports to the Senior Center and the Special Events Manager to plan, organize and execute the City of Lakeland special events. Acts as on-site coordinator, exercising a moderate level of discretion in the interpretation and application of policies, operating procedures, and rules in organizing client rentals and directing volunteers throughout events. To provide a total Special Events program that will serve and meet the community’s needs with active and passive events. Will be evaluated through observation, conferences, and written evaluations.
