Kirby School of Santa Cruz, California, is accepting applications for the position of Director of Choral Studies, who will instruct and direct multiple choirs, grades 6-12. Kirby’s music program has a rich tradition of choral and instrumental ensembles, and features three to four choirs, a jazz band, an orchestra, as well as a host of other supporting musical classes, such as String Methods, Digital Music Production and Music Theory. The primary teaching responsibilities of the candidate for the 2024-2025 school year will be directing Kirby’s choral ensembles: Chorus: 6th-8th grades - beginning ensemble
