Director of Theater Arts Westtown School is seeking a visionary, collaborative educational leader to serve as the Director of Theater Arts across the Lower, Middle, and Upper Schools, primarily working with students in grades 5-12. The Director will be an experienced teacher and director prepared to lead an innovative theater program that utilizes the stage to animate the essential skills of critical thinking, communication, and empathy. The program guides students to develop a toolbox of vocabulary, exercises, techniques, and approaches to embodying characters with athleticism, humanism, and joy while creating theater that feeds a critical prowess that deconstructs theater-making norms, rules, and aesthetics.
