Job Description Summary The Visual Arts Department at Albuquerque Academy seeks a full-time visual arts teacher. Applicants must be skilled in teaching photography, design, and general art, beginning in August 2024. The classes to be taught can include: Photography, Foundation in Art, Drawing and Painting, and AP Art. The position is primarily for teaching grades eight through twelve, though the ability to teach six and seventh grade art will be helpful.  Teaching experience is strongly preferred, and being skilled in more than one media area- such as drawing, painting, photography, digital art, ceramics, or sculpture will be helpful.
