The primary purpose of this position is to provide live music for dance classes, both ballet and contemporary strongly preferred, for approximately 25 hours a week over the course of the school year.Secondary duties include five hours per week of additional duties as determined by the musician and supervisor. These include rehearsal, learning repertoire, playing for the NC Festival of Dance, research and special projects for the school of dance, composing or performing for SOD performances, or any other special projects for the school.
