Germantown Friends School is seeking an experienced part-time Teaching Artist to work with students in our middle and upper school divisions. The focus of the Middle School Theater Arts Program at GFS is to balance introductory skill development with community and character building. It is our goal to engage students in new forms of creative expression while at the same time developing and reinforcing positive relationships among members of their peer group. With a focus on the creative process, performance, and critical response, our Upper School program is committed to the cultivation of the individual artist and their imagination - and to the communal practice of collaboration.
