Job Description The person in this position will direct the 100+ member Tiger Marching Band and other ensembles, such as the Wind Ensemble. Additional teaching responsibilities will be assigned based on the candidate’s expertise, experience, and the needs of the School of Music. The Director of Bands administers all aspects of the band program, coordinates outreach and recruitment events in bands, works in close collaboration with applied faculty, ensemble directors, and School of Music coordinators, and leads in planning and executing the concert calendar for the Tiger Marching, Concert Band, and Wind Ensemble.
