Position Summary: The Department of Music of the Mason Gross School of the Arts, Rutgers University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in ethnomusicology at the level of Assistant Professor. We seek a specialist with interests in musical transnationalism and/or East Asian diasporic music. The successful candidate will teach courses including but not limited to ethnomusicology courses in the undergraduate major and non-major curriculum as well as ethnomusicology graduate seminars aligned with their research area.
