General Statement of Duties: Potentially teach one General Chemistry II lecture or one General Chemistry II laboratory for the Spring 2024 semester.
Duties and Responsibilities: Duties include but not limited to: Essential:
Teach one lecture section of General Chemistry II ? the second semester of a typical two semester general chemistry sequence ? that meets three day a week.
Teach one laboratory section of General Chemistry II ? the second semester of a typical two semester general chemistry sequence ? that meets for three hours one, day a week.
Support student learning outside of lecture.
Coordinate with other laboratory and lecture instructors.
Requirements:
Required Qualifications
Master's degree in chemistry, Ph.D. preferred
Prior teaching at the college level, prior teaching of an general chemistry lecture is preferred.

Salaries for current Westfield State University employees and individuals currently working for the state of Massachusetts must be calculated individually in accordance with collective bargaining agreements as well as state policies.
