Dr. Yune S Lee and The SLAM (Speech, Language, and Music) Lab at the University of Texas at Dallas is seeking to fill a 2-year postdoctoral (Research Associate) position. The SLAM Lab aims to understand the connections between Speech, Language, and Music in the context of communication disorders with the goal of developing music-based intervention programs. Our multidisciplinary studies involve extensive behavioral testing, multimodal MRI/EEG studies, genotyping assays, and non-invasive brain stimulation studies for several funded projects. This Research Associate will be primarily responsible for planning, conducting and directing a wide variety of experiments. Responsible for the evaluation and interpretation of research data. This position will conduct experiments using advanced equipment and applying complex techniques, methods and procedures; plan and execute the details of experiments according to research protocol.
This position is in the department of Speech, Language, and Hearing in the School of Behavioral and Brain Sciences at The University of Texas at Dallas (UTD — bbs.utdallas.edu). Ph.D in a related field.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Research experience in neuroimaging (fMRI/EEG/fNIRS) and/or brain stimulation (TMS, tDCS)
Strong data analytic background (e.g., statistics, signal processing, machine-learning) is a major plus
