The Department of Performance Studies at Rider University seeks an adjunct instructor to teach private lessons to second-year Choral Conducting students for the Spring 2024 Semester beginning Monday, January 22, 2024. This position helps to prepare the students for their graduate recitals, and offers technical, musical and gestural instruction. Lessons are set up individually at the convenience of the instructor and students.
Position Requirements:
Demonstrated ability and experience in building fundamental musical and choral ensemble skills
Demonstrated ability and experience preparing Major Symphonic Choral Works
Demonstrated conducting/rehearsal technique
MM in Music
Experience working with graduate students in group classes and/or individual instruction
