The Oberlin College and Conservatory invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position in Piano beginning in the 2024-25 academic year.
The successful applicant will recruit and teach a studio of undergraduate pianists. Additional duties may include chamber music coaching and teaching the piano literature course. Active participation is expected in department recruitment efforts, hearings, juries, auditions, student advising, and meetings.
We seek an Artist-Teacher with an established national/international reputation and a proven record of successful teaching and performance, and who shares Oberlin's commitment to the highest standards in undergraduate musical training. An advanced degree in piano is desired but not necessary if an applicant has outstanding professional recognition. Applications at the rank of Associate or Assistant Professor are especially encouraged.
