Job Summary:
Direct and coordinate operational activities in support of Music, Theatre, and Dance with a focus on music admissions. Participate in extensive recruitment efforts, manage the online audition and application processes, oversee the pre-screening process, and coordinate and direct the audition and interview sessions. Provide exceptional service to prospective families and their students throughout the application process.

Essential Duties:
Work with the Dean's Office in managing a student-centered admission process within the School of Music, Theatre, and Dance. Implement admission policies, procedures, and practices to attract a diverse and inclusive student body. Maintain awareness of national college and theatre and dance admission guidelines, ethics, and practices and assist in disseminating information to faculty.
Work with the other Associate Director of Admissions and the Dean’s Office to build and execute the School of Music, Theatre, and Dance communication plan through strategy development, messaging, and audience identification. Generate, edit, publish, and share content and set up and optimize School pages on the College website pages dedicated to admissions and within selected platforms to increase the visibility of School content. Work with students and staff to create and moderate content and develop promotional materials.
Coordinate and participate in extensive national recruitment programs and represent the School of Music, Theatre, and Dance at high schools, college fairs, conferences, and summer camps; develop and maintain relationships with influencers regionally and nationally.
Develop and demonstrate a multicultural awareness and contribute to cultivating an inclusive, diverse, and respectful College community. Demonstrate civil and inclusive behavior when interacting with staff, faculty, students, and visitors to the College. Promote a flexible, collaborative, and inclusive work and living environment and engage in educational opportunities to increase awareness and understanding of diversity and inclusion.
Manage the online theatre and dance admissions application system and provide support to applicants and faculty. Maintain the online application, make yearly updates, and troubleshoot as needed.
Coordinate arrangements dealing with student auditions both on and off campus to include receiving applications, selecting calendar dates and sites, projecting costs, notifying participating faculty, making travel arrangements for personnel, equipment, and materials; handle correspondence and calls to prospective student and parents; supervise audition procedures and video record auditions for faculty review. Supervise and assist in organizing on-campus audition days to include, auditions with faculty, and information sessions. Serve as event organizer, emcee, and point of contact to all those participating.
Manage the pre-screening audition process to include contacting applicants who are required to submit pre-screening auditions to ensure all required application materials have been submitted. Ensure adherence to admission deadlines, communicate with faculty to determine pre-screening audition results.
Participate in the development and implementation of Music admission yield programs.
Maintain School of Music, Theatre, and Dance records used in auditions; compile and maintain reports regarding current enrollment figures and projection for enrollment. Compile and analyze new data and make recommendations as needed to assist in the admission effort.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years related experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience; extensive knowledge of; excellent organizational and project management skills and attention to detail; strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to effectively work and interact respectfully within a diverse and inclusive environment; excellent organizational skills; solid working knowledge of various word processing, spreadsheet, and database software applications, solid data management skills, knowledge of web structures and platforms with the ability to manage a social media presence, and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information are required.
Hiring Range:

Work Environment:
Most of the work of the incumbent is carried out within a generally accessible, safe, indoor environment. The incumbent will be required to use a personal computer and associated equipment as well as other office equipment used in the day-to-day operations. The incumbent may need to deliver various materials on campus requiring the ability to walk or drive or make other travel arrangements.
