Position: Situated in the beautiful Finger Lakes region of NY, the Ithaca College School of Music, Theatre, and Dance invites applications for a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor of Violin position to begin August 16, 2024. The successful candidate will teach assigned classes at the undergraduate level in the following areas: weekly private lessons, studio performance classes, and chamber music; participate in departmental, school, and college service such as music audition days, recruiting, grading juries and recitals, and advising students as needed. Qualifications: A Master’s degree, a record of teaching excellence, and evidence of success as a performing artist are required for this position. Special consideration will be given to candidates who share our commitment to professional preparation of students within the context of an interdisciplinary and immersive liberal arts education.

Hiring Range: $60,100 - $79,950, dependent on discipline, qualifications and experience.
