As we continue to grow, we're in search of a skilled Video Editor to join our Media Crew and help us create compelling content. Please note that this position is in-house only, and remote work is not an option. We have a fast-paced content creation schedule, so we're looking for someone who can keep up with our team.
Position Overview:
As an Experienced Video Editor at Pedal Commander, you will be responsible for producing visually stunning and engaging video content that showcases our products, tells our brand story, and resonates with our automotive enthusiast audience. Your role will play a critical part in elevating our brand's presence across digital platforms and beyond.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble raw video and photo footage and transfer/upload it to a computer and Cloud account.
- Follow scripts, screenplays, or outlines to ensure content aligns with our vision.
- Incorporate sound elements, including selecting music and writing voice-overs.
- Add graphics to enhance the quality of the content.
- Digitally splice film and video, synchronizing them into one rough cut file.
- Enhance and correct lighting, coloring, and any faulty footage.
- Edit and retouch photos to meet our visual standards.
Qualifications:
- A creative individual with a background in media, art, communication, photography, videography, and/or technology.
- An ideal Video Editor has a combination of these skills to produce high-quality films or videos and photos.
- Experience working with film and video is required.
- Training in video production and editing software, such as Final Cut Pro and Adobe products, is beneficial.
- Proficiency in editing software programs.
- General understanding of computers and digital equipment.
- Knowledge of new and cutting-edge technology.
- Ability to take and follow directions while having a creative eye for improvements.
