Job Description: Teach credit bearing courses as part of the School of Music, Theatre & Dance arts leadership curriculum (ARTSADMN); deliver exemplary in-class and virtual (e.g. online) pedagogy, leveraging best practices around diversity, equity and inclusion; provide access to experiential learning opportunities, and access to arts leaders for observation; provide mentorship and guidance for enrolled students and assist in connecting them to external mentors; provide timely, detailed feedback to students on all coursework and assignments.
Qualifications: Graduate degree in arts leadership or commensurate professional experience; prior demonstrated success teaching credit-bearing tertiary arts management, entrepreneurship, and/or leadership courses; national profile within the fields of arts management and/or leadership.
This position is covered under the collective bargaining agreement between the U-M and the Lecturers Employee Organization, AFL-CIO, which contains and settles all matters with respect to wages, benefits, hours and other terms and conditions of employment.
