The Department of Music at Columbia University invites applications for a full-time, tenure track appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor with a specialization in Ethnomusicology to begin July 1, 2023. The successful candidate must have a completed PhD by the time of appointment. The responsibilities of the position include research and publication, graduate and undergraduate teaching, contributing to the programming and development of the Center for Ethnomusicology, and participating in departmental service. We seek a colleague whose work will complement our current strengths; the area of specialization is open.
