ASST/ASSOC PROFESSOR OF SCENIC DESIGN
Teach two courses per year in scenic design for the theatre and teach two courses per year in a related topic such as graphic design, art direction, digital rendering/modeling, period styles, and/or non-Western design. In addition, the faculty member will co-teach the course Graduate Design Seminar each semester. Primary responsibilities include participating in a six-semester pre-professional curriculum for the MFA design program; teaching beginning and intermediate design courses for the BA degree; designing one departmental production each year; extensive mentoring of graduate design students; academic advising of undergraduate students; recruiting at U/RTA; and participating in departmental and university service responsibilities.
