The Marketing Director for UAB Visual and Performing Arts has the opportunity to make a major impact in expanding and diversifying audiences for a mission-driven organization. This position will serve as a member of the UAB Visual and Performing Arts' senior staff and will and be a central hub for communication materials across all departments. The Marketing Director, in partnership with the Executive Director and senior leadership, will create the most compelling narrative and brand to promote the organization on a public platform. The Marketing Director will ensure that all marketing campaigns, external messaging, and collateral materials fully represent the mission, vision, and values of UAB Visual and Performing Arts. They will be responsible for day-to-day development and implementation of marketing strategies and initiatives and drive revenue and attendance to maximize public participation. They will manage, supervise, and direct all marketing activities associated with UAB Visual and Performing Arts to include market planning, development, research and analysis, and all associated activities.
Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, marketing, branding, marketing strategy, advertising, communications, analytics, or a related field and five (5) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirements.
