The Production Coordinator will oversee the coordination and execution of a variety of events for The Clarice and its partners, including large and complex events. The Production Coordinator is responsible for pre-event planning and coordination as well as onsite event supervision. The Production Coordinator works in a manner and style that facilitates interdepartmental cooperation and collaboration. The Production Coordinator develops and maintains an effective production process, promotes a positive educational environment and ensures consistency of service to the clients, partners, and resident academic units. This position promotes a safe and productive workplace by ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures. Evening and weekend work is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in performing arts or related field, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 0-2 years of experience in implementing operating policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of current practices and procedures in professional performing arts management.
- Superior communication skills.
- Strong organization and management skills
- Ability to supervise crews working in event type situations.
- Ability to work nights and weekends as necessary.
