The Setnor School of Music in the College of Visual and Performing Arts at Syracuse University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Piano, starting August 15, 2024. The successful candidate will be an accomplished artist who is dedicated to teaching applied piano and related courses. We seek an individual whose work exhibits vitality, ingenuity, and leadership.
A doctorate is required. The chosen candidate will be expected to serve on various university, college, and school committees, establish ongoing professional activity as a performer and participate actively in student recruitment. This position requires an online application, a letter of application, curriculum vitae, a teaching statement, a diversity and inclusion statement, and contact information for a minimum of four references.
