Job Summary: The Department of Politics and International Affairs at Furman University invites applications for a tenure-track appointment at the Assistant, Associate, or Full professorial rank in American politics, specializing in racial and ethnic politics, to begin August 1, 2024. The candidate will teach five courses per year, including introductory and upper-level courses in American politics. The candidate must demonstrate the potential for superb teaching and excellence in scholarship. The person hired must possess a Ph.D. in Political Science by August 1, 2024.
