The Artistic Operations Manager is a full-time annual position that shall be responsible for all aspects of the technical preparation and production for a variety of Naples Philharmonic and Artis—Naples events, including but not limited to Naples Philharmonic Masterworks, Pops, education concerts, chamber music and special events. The Artistic Operations Manager will also provide support for the production team with Broadway, film festivals/screenings, one-night headliners, development and rental events.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Coordinate with Naples Philharmonic guest conductors, artists, personnel manager, librarian and musicians as needed to prepare for Naples Philharmonic rehearsals, performances and other activities, including following all requirements of the Naples Philharmonic CBA.
Supervise and direct House and Call-In Crew during all calls for assigned projects while following all requirements of the I.A.T.S.E. Local 647 CBA. Be present on-site for load-in, sound checks/rehearsals, performances and load-out.
Work with presentations, outside rentals and others to coordinate all production requirements for events, rehearsals and performances for assigned projects. Coordinate event specifics with other internal personnel and departments.
Provide for use of contracted equipment, including but not limited to musical instruments, properties, audio-visual equipment, etc. Arrange for outside services, including but not limited to keyboard tunings, backline rental, fire watch, page-turners, etc.
Collaborate with Artistic Operations production team to produce weekly schedules for House and Call-In Crew. Provide support for the production team as needed in cases of illness, scheduling conflicts or unavailability.
Review and, as necessary, mark up artist and event contracts and assist in creating budget estimates for performance and internal events. Determine ongoing Artis—Naples production expenditures and maintenance costs to submit for annual budgeting consideration. Maintain and archive accurate event files.
Prepare daily performance reports, payroll and other reports with accuracy and consistency. Submit payroll summary reports for House and Call-In Crew.
Provide support for IATSE contract negotiations as required by the EVP Artistic Operations.
Observe safety requirements. Report safety issues and items requiring work orders to Supervisor or Safety & Security.
Work effectively with all Artis—Naples team members.
Education/Experience
Bachelor’s degree in music, theatre tech/production or related field preferred; or equivalent experience in similar position.
Knowledge of and experience in all aspects of orchestral performance and production as well as familiarity with modern stagecraft.
Must have ability to handle numerous details in a thorough and careful manner.
Must have excellent communication and interactive skills.
Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule that will include long workdays, early mornings, late nights, weekends and holidays.
Proficient use of Microsoft Office.
Familiarity with venue scheduling software a plus (ArtsVision).
