Required Skill/ability 1: Degree in music, or equivalent. Five years of experience in a technical services environment or its equivalent. Demonstrated professional ability working in an academic research library.
Required Skill/ability 2: Demonstrated knowledge of current national cataloging/metadata content and structural standards.
Required Skill/ability 3: 2 years of proven supervisory ability in technical services.
Required Skill/ability 4: Proven ability in cataloging/creating metadata for digital collection repositories.
Required Skill/ability 5: Demonstrated excellent oral, written and interpersonal communications, analytical ability, accuracy and attention to detail.
Preferred Education: Experience in migration to a new library services platform.
Work Week: Standard (M-F equal number of hours per day)
