The University of Minnesota Morris Division of the Humanities seeks applications for a specialist in Choral Conducting with an interest in teaching at a small, residential, liberal arts college that has been recognized nationally for its high academic quality.  The appointment will be made at the Lecturer/Assistant Professor or Teaching Specialist classification, depending on qualifications. 

The responsibilities of this position include: leading the UMN Morris Concert Choir and small vocal ensembles; teaching courses in choral conducting and literature; teaching voice lessons; and offering other courses in music, such as arranging, diction, musicianship, vocal techniques, or an introductory course, consistent with the needs of the university and one's qualifications and experience. Should demonstrate a sensitivity to cultural diversity and have the ability to communicate and interact effectively with people of all ages and diverse backgrounds.
