Specific Responsibilities:
Instruction: Teach four classes each semester;
Assessment: Provide written feedback on student progress, accurately reporting student performance in MSSM’s grade- management system, Infinite Campus;
Advising: Advise a small group of students (“advisees”), offering academic support and guidance;
Club Sponsorship: Sponsor one club or sport each year;Communication: Communicate in a professional and timely manner to all staff, parents, and students; and
Other: Perform other academic or community duties as assigned by the Executive Director.
Relevant teaching experience in candidate’s instructional field(s). Relevant four-year degree in candidate's instructional fields(s).
Preferred Qualifications:
The successful candidate should have a Master’s degree or higher in their field of instruction, exhibit evidence of exceptional teaching, strong interpersonal skills, a collaborative spirit, and a solid understanding of gifted and talented students.
