Position Begins: August 2023 Department: Instructional Faculty, Performing Arts Department Mounds Park Academy seeks a Middle School Music and Vocal teacher to begin in the 2023-2024 school year who is interested in teaching young people to connect with choral music and values both collaboration and creativity in the music classroom. Specifically, this candidate will teach 5th grade general music, 6th grade general music, and 7/8th grade choir. Additionally, they will offer small group/individual voice lessons for Middle School students, as well as prepare several performances throughout the year. All music teachers at MPA are responsible for providing a classroom instructional program that supports the individual needs of all students in accordance with the school’s mission and values.
