Nature of position: Temporary, part-time

Job Summary/Basic Function:

• Teach on a part-time basis face-to-face classes, days or evenings as scheduled, one or more of the following courses:
  • Health Care Information Management
  • Data Analytics in Health Care
  • Data Exploration & Visualization for IT Managers
  • Cybersecurity
  • IT Security, Privacy, and Ethics

• In addition to teaching, there is an expectation for scholarship and service commensurate with the assignment.

• Scholarship and creative activity; for example, membership in a professional organization or other professional engagement.

• Serve on departmental and university-wide committees.
• Serve on the audition committee for evaluating music majors and minors.

• The CBA, Article 12.B.1, Effective teaching and fulfillment of professional responsibilities (p. 27).
• Continuing scholarly growth and professional development (p. 28).
• Service: contribution to the university and/or the community (p. 28).
