The Department of Cinematic Arts and Theatre at the University of North Alabama invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor in the BFA Cinematic Arts and Theatre degree program beginning in fall 2023. This appointment is for a nine-month academic schedule. The successful candidate will teach a 12-hour course load each fall and spring semester - experience in online teaching or a willingness to learn how to develop and teach online courses is required. The successful candidate will be expected to: teach various levels of film and/or theatre design and tech courses (which may include courses in the areas of stagecraft, design, lighting design, scenography, and script analysis); design cinematic/theatrical productions which foster growth of the current student body,
