General Music gr 1 - 8
We are seeking a career music educator who loves teaching general music. Our ideal candidate is a generalist who is willing to step into a well-established program and innovate new approaches. Both the school leadership and parent community enthusiastically support school music. The full-time position begins July 1 for the 2023-2024 school year, but part-time employment is possible during the current school year.  We focus on general music education in grades 1 - 8, and all students participate in an active, place-based and culturally responsive curriculum. Applicants should be willing to lead activities including typical general music lessons such as using Orff instruments, playing in recorder ensembles, singing in harmony, but that also range to class guitar, class keybo
