The Art Department MFA in Environmental Art & Social Practice currently serves 8 graduate students with 16 expected in 2022-23 (steady state is up to 20 students). Each of these degree programs has collaborative, interconnected components, as well as distinct and complex degree requirements, maintaining separate policies and procedures. Provides varied student services to students, faculty, and department / school / college management. Works on moderately complex issues. Receives assistance on more complex issues. Under general supervision of the Art Department and Music Department Administrative Managers, the incumbent serves as the graduate coordinator for matters relating to all of the graduate programs in the Art Department at 40% time and the Music Department at 60% time. The incumbent serves a diverse population of students and faculty. Each of these degree programs has collaborative, interconnected components, as well as distinct and complex degree requirements, maintaining separate policies and procedures. Principal functional areas of responsibility include: (1) academic advising and program planning; (2) database maintenance and student record coordination; (3) general administrative support; (4) social media and graduate newsletter; and (5) admissions and recruitment. APPOINTMENT INFORMATION Budgeted Salary: $26.87 - $30.84 / Hourly. Salary commensurate with skills, qualifications and experience.
