This position has the responsibility of overseeing the operations of a major City facility. It is a position of more than ordinary difficulty and accountability in the organization, including supervising, planning, analyzing, and marketing a performing arts and rental facility. There is latitude for independent judgment in selecting performance programs, rental sales, and facilitation. Work is performed under the general direction of a Director.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in business, theater/performing arts management or hospitality, or a closely related field and five (5) years paid experience in full-time administrative work, three of which must have been in a supervisory capacity, or an equivalent combination of training and experience
Certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillators (AED) must be received within six months of employment
Valid Driver's License
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong customer service skills and the ability to build & maintain relationships with a diverse group of people
Considerable knowledge of business practices and operations related to the supervision of rental and performance facilities
Ability to implement an operation plan, manage contracts, provide superior customer service and manage ticketing operations
Ability to prepare clear, accurate, and timely reports and maintain accurate records
Ability to communicate clearly in writing and orally
Ability to maintain effective working relationships with employees, community support groups, and the public
Ability to work with a variety of computer programs
