ArtsConnection is currently reviewing Teaching Artist applications for hire in 2023! We are looking for artists of a variety of disciplines to work with our K-12 schools throughout all 5 boroughs, with a great need for general/instrumental music, as well as dance and media (music and 3D visual) arts specialists. This is a part time opportunity, Monday-Friday between the hours of 8am and 5pm. Residencies can run from 10-15 weeks, 1-2 times a week. The position involves curriculum development within your art form and developing collaborative goals and incorporating the interests of the school partners and students involved.  We offer ongoing professional development and administrative support provided by Program Managers who help to facilitate collaboration between teaching artists and classroom teachers involve in the residency.
