Department: College of Visual & Performing Arts (CVPA) Web Announcement: Assistant/Associate Term Professor in Applied Voice, Classical The Dewberry School of Music of George Mason University, one of the most diverse institutions in American higher education, seeks a dynamic Assistant or Associate Term Professor to serve in the area of Applied Voice, Classical, starting August 2023. This is a full-time, annually renewable Term 9-month position, with the possibility for promotion and multi-year contracts on subsequent term appointments. Salary is commensurate with experience. Responsibilities: This is a full-time faculty artist-teacher position (assistant or associate term professor rank). Primary responsibilities include applied teaching of graduate and undergraduate music majors within the Dewberry School of Music and recruitment of vocal students. Additional responsibilities include teaching courses such as diction, vocal pedagogy, repertoire, or others, and coaching advanced students for recitals or competition appearances.
