As a member of the Claire Trevor School of the Arts, the incumbent is tasked with upholding and exemplifying excellence in the University's core competencies-- job mastery, goal accomplishment, enterprise contribution, and innovation-- while representing the Manager, Chair, and Department to the campus. The School of the Arts provides an engaging, supportive, challenging, and rewarding atmosphere where collaboration and innovation thrive. As indicated in our strategic plan, our school's mission is to bring the Claire Trevor School of the Arts to new prominence among arts programs, through engagement in and exploration of traditional and emerging art forms. Please, join us! The pianist will accompany Ballet classes levels II, III and IV. Classes are based on traditional ballet techniques and styles. The pianist will play music that complements the dancers' movement for combinations given by the instructor, while matching the tempo, meter and overall character of each exercise.
