General Statement of Duties: Seeking individuals to assist in various internal college events, external community group rental events such as meetings, fundraisers, concerts, vendor fairs, theatre performances, etc. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are needed. Good physical health and the ability to work flexible hours are a must. Supervision Received: Reports to the College Events Manager. Example of Duties: (other duties may be required upon request) - Assist in various set-up and breakdowns of scheduled events (i.e. setting up tables/chairs according to floorplans, hanging signage, organizing dressing and green rooms based on client requests).
- Assist in clean up and breakdown of materials and equipment after completion of event.
- Adhere to policies and procedures mandated by Roxbury Community College.
- Report any logistical issues to onsite events supervisor.
- Other duties to be assigned by supervisor.
Job Requirements:
- All candidates must have legal authorization to work in the United States
- Work experience in a related position.
- H.S. diploma preferred.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills a must.

Start Date: Varies Hours: Shifts will vary based on event needs - weekday operations are between 8am - 10pm; weekend operations are between 8am - 10pm Salary: $20 per hour/based on experience All offers of employment at Roxbury Community College are contingent upon clear results of a thorough background check review.
