Lecturer in Theater Arts
The Department of Theater Arts at Brandeis University seeks an instructor for the THA 164a Costume Design (3 credits) in the fall semester (2022.) Explores the social and political themes within various dramatic texts and discuss how those themes influence design choices. We will examine the ways specific costume design choices - period, silhouette, texture and color - convey meaning, and will gain experience creating and presenting theoretical costume design concepts as paper projects.
