This position supports the Senior Donor Relations Officer on efforts to increase general operating and programming support for the Hopkins Center for the Arts. Responsibilities include managing, developing and executing strategies to cultivate, solicit and steward Hopkins Center Memberships with an emphasis towards inclusivity and access for all. The role ensures that the program stays on budget and participates in setting giving expectations; staffs and represents the Hopkins Center at performances, programs and events as needed; and collaborates with the Marketing department on all manners of communications.
This position is responsible for ensuring gifts are accurately recorded, promptly acknowledged and supports the ongoing integrity of constituent databases. This role maintains accurate records of memberships and gifts, processing of annual renewals, fulfilling membership benefits, and providing membership reports as needed. Collaborates with various departments to reconcile gifts and ensure accurate constituent data across platforms and contributes to the way our organization uses the Tessitura database to its benefit, looking for ways to analyze and leverage the data to identify giving trends, segment communications, and improve the donor experience.
Development communication and other support
The Development Associate works carefully to increase constituent engagement with the arts at Dartmouth through multiple channels including events, social media and print/digital communication. Designs and executes an annual calendar of direct appeals in coordination with several departments. Working with the Senior Donor Relations Officer, oversees general donor communications, and coordinates communication efforts. This role provides support to the Senior Donor Relations Officer for Hopkins Center Advisory Board gatherings including assembling board report and meeting materials and social event coordination; coordinates the Membership Advisory Group including scheduling and developing agendas. This role serves as the primary contact and organizer of Membership benefits and related events.
Bachelors plus 3-5 years' experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
