The Division of Student Life at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville invites applications for the assistant director position for Student Conduct & Community Standards. This is an exempt, 12-month, full time, non-tenure track staff position.
Student Conduct & Community Standards develops student integrity and accountability through an educational, consistent, and equitable conduct process.
Reporting to the director, the primary duties of the assistant director for Student Conduct & Community Standards are as follows:
Investigate and adjudicate individual and organizational misconduct cases involving high risk/liability and complexity
Serve as liaison between department and other campus partners, as well as inter/national organization headquarters
Assist the Director with oversight, management, and strategic direction of the department
Oversee the student organization misconduct process
Maintain and collect data regarding student organization misconduct incidents, trends, and office timelines; Compile student organization misconduct annual reports
Supervise a full-time coordinator
Assist with selection, training, and supervision of graduate assistants and practicum student(s)
Advise and present to on-campus and off-campus entities regarding university policy and interpret the UT standards of conduct
Collaborate with campus entities regarding educational sanction programs
Serve on campus committees as assigned
