Principal duties will include private instruction in electric bass performance for students in the Popular Music Performance program at the undergraduate levels.Â Additional related duties may be assigned, based on the needs of the department and the qualifications of the candidate.
The ideal candidate will have expertise and direct experience in school music education.Â Â
Minimum Education:Â College experience
Preferred Experience: High-level professional performance experience. The preferred candidate will have several years of experience teaching at the collegiate or professional level master classes, workshops or clinics.
Knowledgeable of the styles of bass playing covering the 1950âs -present day in the genres including, R8B, pop, jazz, rock, and World Music
