West Chester University of Pennsylvania's AACSB Accredited Department of Marketing invites applications for a full-time, tenure track, Assistant/Associate Professor of Accounting. The position will begin in Fall 2023.

The College of Business and Public Management is a AACSB accredited school. The Department of Accounting, within the College of Business and Public Management, works to successfully launch students into the accounting field. The department incorporates social responsibility into its curriculum and is a signatory school of Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME).
The faculty position involves teaching undergraduate and/or MBA accounting courses offered in-person and online in both synchronous and asynchronous formats. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to the learning and teaching needs of the department’s students. The faculty will collaborate with other departmental and college faculty & staff to ensure student success.
Teach undergraduate courses in accounting.
Teach distance education courses.
Advice and mentor students.
Provide teaching and instructional learning.
Actively contribute to the college’s maintenance of AACSB accreditation process.
Engage in scholarly activities such as research, presentations, and publications.
Serve the University and the community through participation in various committees.
Other duties as assigned.
Ph.D., D.B.A., or JD in Accounting (ABD with completion by July 2023 will be considered).
Experience teaching accounting courses at a college level.
Ph.D. or D.B.A. in Accounting from an AACSB accredited program.
CPA or CMA.
Professional (non-academic) work experience in accounting.

Finalist must successfully complete an interview and teaching demonstration.
